Sure Gary, pint of water should be fine.... ;-P

ETA:  Completely different experience from the Kettering test centre.  Bedford is a bit more *ahem* 'rustic'... Kettering was all protocol and checking licenses under UV lights and debriefs in locked rooms.  Bedford was a bit, 'alright, lets go then' and debriefing in the stair well!!  Tougher routes in Bedford too.  Lot more urban traffic and tight roads.  Kettering was more dual carriage ways and large roundabouts.  Poor guy who went before me failed for speeding.  Apparently the examiner had to tell him to slow down as they were approaching a speed camera!

If QQ's buying the beer I might make the journey to Rutland lol!

Was he the other guy with your instructor? Being told to slow down by the examiner.. I wonder if he realised he'd blown it? laughing

Yes, he was the other rider with my instructor.  He also left indicators on for both left and right turns.  Poor chap looked white and sick after he found he'd failed :-(

D'oh! Speeding and non-cancel-button-mashing sad kinda feel for him, but think he wasn't ready for the test...

One way of looking at it would be his fail meant you were more likely to pass  toothy grin

Not that the DSA have quota's.....  rolling eyes
