It's taken me a while to get around to watching the ITV highlights of the final round, partly because someone (no-one here) spoiled the result for me.
For those of you who don't know, Tommy Hill (in yellow) and Jon Hopkins (in blue) went into the last race just 2 points apart. Simply by beating the other, each one could potentially ensure victory, fame glory and girls.
After 18 and a bit laps they were battling over 2nd and 3rd - and then the following happened:
