These are crazy days, but they make me shine...

You need leathers - either one piece or two piece that join with a full length zip.

If you are in MM, maybe Cadwell?

Or Mallory.  I'm doing both in the next couple of months if you want some company: http://www.gbbikers.co.uk/gbb/index.php/topic,50891.msg705501.html#msg705501

if you do the hopp ride training at cadwell then they let you wear textiles, however it's not a full on track day

best bet is to just buy some, track days are addictive and you'll soon want to do another...

I wondered about the textile/leathers thing when I went to Oulton to watch MiniP at a No Limits event.

There was a guy there who was definately wearing a textile jacket with leather trousers.
Didnt ask him about it tho but their site says leathers only. Maybe he turned up in textiles not realising and they took pity on him ?

Seems odd.  I doubt they'd take pity on him as it would invalidate their insurance if he hurt himself.

edit: Was it cold?  I might have worn a textile jacket over leathers. shrug
