I've got my Mod 1 test in just over three hours time and I'm bricking it!!!  I just don't seem to have the confidence in the grip of the front tyre to cant the bike over enough to get decent speed through the approach corner to the swerve and emergency stop. I know its all in my mind but I just don't know how hard to safely push! So good thoughts and karma for 1040 Hrs please!! And if anyone knows an anti-rain dance.............  |

Thanks for all the good wishes! I'm glad to report I passed with one minor fault for dabbing a foot coming out of the figure of eight exercise. Speed through the speed trap on the swerve test was 52 kph (needs to be over 50 kph) and 60 kph on the emergency stop, I must have been keen to get it over on done with!! Motobiker - I was in Lind Motorrad this afternoon looking at a CBR600f (of all things!) with my other half as she's bike hunting and had to be dragged out and away from the GSAs!! Totally different I know but I rather liked the look of the F800ST too. I'm just a "Mr Toad" when I comes to bikes!! Anthony |

Well thats good isn't it.
To be honest some of the best dealership deals can be had in the oddest places.. so a honda in a bmw place can quite often be a bargain.. it will have been a trade-in I guess.. and as such will be just 'taking up space' and they'll be keen to get rid.. at a good price too, maybe. Few members of this forum have the F800.
when's the next test part due?
