hey all im trying to get into the world of knee down and i need to sitck some knee sliders onto my leathers, is there anything i should know about them before i part with cash?? also is there any tips for fitting them to the leathers e.g below the knww join, mark a place on the knee while ur in position?!?

I just stick them on where the velcro is on my leathers. Once you start getting KD you can see if they need to be re-positioned by the scrapes on them.

As for which one's to buy......well I don't think i've bought a pair yet, I just keep nicking them from Sharpy
Just get some fairly cheap one's, no point wasting loads of money on something you're gonna scratch anyway
Also, don't get titanium/sparky sliders if you're planning to do trackdays as they are not allowed.

I've got some ready scraped if you want to save yourself the bother?
Like Fee said, once you start scraping that's when you find out what position they want to be in, just start off with them in a sensible place and go from there....Everyone's body position is different so the placement will alter as well
