Welcome to GBBikers!  Its good to have you with us!   very happy

While you are introducing yourselves to us, its seems only fair that you know a little about the people who manage and moderate this place.  They keep it running smoothly, enforce our rules, and contribute to the general well being of members and the forum on a
daily basis.  Their positions are not remunerated, so bear this in mind before you give them a hard time.   toothy grin

Full Bike Licence:  8 years.  But I bought my first bike in 1971, just never bothered taking a test.

Favourite Books:  Anything  Sci-Fi

Favourite Films:  Action

Favourite Music:  Moody Blues, real rock-n-roll

Pet Hates:  Drivers who don't use their indicators, drivers who don't look, just drivers really.

I've been to all the Welsh weekends since 2005 and all the Goat meets plus a few other rideouts. I've made some great friends on this site and look forward to making many more.

Age:  Well, this will change depending on when you look at this, but if we say 'around 30' then that should suffice for at least a while.

Member of GB Bikers:  30th March 2007

Full Bike Licence:  See 'Age'. Again, 'a couple of years' should suffice, with 6 months of CBT commuting beforehand.

Favourite Bikes:  Ones that work and don't have a knackered fuel tank grump Love the styling of Bonnevilles and such, think sports 400s are wicked fun but I'm not overly sniffy about any style.

Bikes I would like to own:  One that works and doesn't have a knackered fuel tank... grump

Favourite Books:  Jim Butcher's 'Dresden' books, anything by Terry Pratchett as well as SF Grand Master stuff (Asimov, Heinlein, Clarke, Niven, etc...)

Favourite Films:  Depends on my mood at the time.

Favourite Music:  Eclectic. From Scarlatti to Senser - classical, jazz, rock, blues, tacky 80s synth-pop. Pretty much everything bar R&B.

Personal Philosophy:  A bit deep for me. I tend to go for a more pragmatic approach and simply get on with things.

Pet Hates:  Don't get me started. No, really, I mean it...

* Edit  -  wore his fingers to the bone in this place  toothy grin

Age: 30 but I don’t look a day over 31.

Member of GB Bikers:     April 11, 2007

Full Bike Licence:  Same as above.

Favourite Bikes: The one I have now…..GSXR750 K6.  love

Bikes I would like to own: Anything half decent that I can use as a dedicated track bike and I won’t be too upset about binning. A Desmosedici, mainly because it’s just ludicrously expensive. And I’ve always quite fancied a 675 but they’re too tall for me.

Favourite Books:  Mostly girly stuff I’m afraid, like Bridget Jones etc. I’m currently reading and addicted to the Twilight series.

Favourite Films:  We were Soldiers, Shaun of the Dead, Happy Gilmore……there’s too many to list really.

Favourite Music:  Anything and everything, I have a very eclectic taste in music from classical to funky house/electro.

Personal Philosophy:  Life is too short, so have fun and be the best that you can be.

Pet Hates:  Not sure, but my pet likes are Horses and Dogs.

Ambitions: To do more tracks than just Cadwell! To try skydiving and bungee jumping.  devil

Ambition: One day I'd like to go to bed on the same day I got up.

Other stuff: I like to get out on my bike whenever possible, alone or in groups, enjoy the social side of biking as much as riding. I've met a load of great people on here and look forward to helping with whatever I can.

Age: 33 years last time I looked.

Member of GB Bikers:    July 10, 2008

Full Bike Licence: 2 years.

Favourite Bikes I've owned:  My Hornet - it's my first big bike and I'm still in love with it.  How sad is that?  Not too sad, I hope.

Bikes I would like to own: I'm not too sure to be honest.  I quite fancy the look of the new CBR600 but not sure I could tear myself away from the hornet even if I could afford it.

Favourite Books:  Generally anything by Peter F Hamilton.  I'm in awe of the Night's Dawn Trilogy and Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series has been a fun ride too.

Favourite Films: The Notebook for its soppiness and Pitch Black for Vin Diesel's body and voice.  Mmmm Vin Diesel!

Favourite Music: A bit of everything really.  I do love Ray LaMontagne's voice, I was a big Garth Brooks fan in my yoof and I dabble in a bit of everything from My Chemical Romance to Amy MacDonald.

Personal Philosophy:
What doesn't kill me can only make me stronger.

Pet Hates:
How much time do you have?  The whole "there, they're and their" thing gets me, along with people who can only do one speed - 40 in a 50 or 40 in a 30.  *counts to ten and takes a big deep breath*

Ambition: To have an ambition Wink

Other Stuff My life revolves around my beautiful dog Jake.
